The eBay ad is live. Hopefully she can find a loving home. I’ve loved my time with this car and now its time for someone else to enjoy.

When my wife and I adopted our dog they suggested we rename her, to help her mark a new period in her life and put the past behind her. We decided to call her by her old name once and she looked at us kind of sideways, like “that’s not me, but I know you’re calling me...”
I dunno if it works like that with dogs or cars, but she’ll probably only ever be Peggy for you.

That’s the curb weight.

I priced it to move. It has a few little issues that are mentioned in the ad. I never said it was a concours car.

Does Chevy make motorcycles?

That’s a cool way to look at it. She was always Peggy enough for me. Previous owners called her “the global warmer” and the neighbors call it “the teal terror”

you COULD argue that Bosshoss are SBC motorcycles

Cool ride. I always liked this era of Chryslers.
Is it a Commando 383 V8? I had that motor in a 65 Fury and it was great.

Man that color is gorgeous on that car. Kudos for being a good custodian.

Was that always a Canadian car?
![]() 04/11/2016 at 15:06 |

From day one. It’s actually always been an Ontario car too.
![]() 04/11/2016 at 15:12 |

No!
It’s the oldest car I’ve ever driven. Fun to work on too. That damn fuel filter was a pain.
![]() 04/11/2016 at 15:13 |

Glad I got to share it with you! yeah why the hell is the filter mounted behind the alternator?

How did it beat the tinworm?
![]() 04/11/2016 at 15:17 |

I honestly have no clue. There’s hardly any rust on the car.
![]() 04/11/2016 at 15:20 |
|
It was in the damn worst place. Took way too long just to get the pinch ring opened up to put the hose back on the top of the filter.

Are there any differences from a U.S. spec one? I’ve always liked the weird Canadian GM variants.

I’ve done rust on c bodies, because they rust and someone has to do it. Did trunk rust in two of the 800 or so 70 polara convertibles (very rare, two the same colour in my town and I’ve welded patches into both) that’s in sask, where the rust isn’t so bad, That’s a miracle survivor for a Trawna car.

Not that I know of. It’s the same as US spec I think.
